Blazers Fans Upset With Ownership's Bashing of Team TFHN - Daniel Ronel, Oct. 23
Seattle, WA • While most of the hockey world fumed at the antics of TFHN'S writer/SEA owner Daniel Ronel, the fans of the Seattle Blazers basked in the praise and pampering Ronel provided. Now that Ronel is trying to appease the rest of the world, the hometown fans are not too satisfied. And Ronel looks a little worse for wear. The young owner has dug himself into a hole bigger than ones portrayed in a certain Louis Sachar novel. In trying to appeal to everybody, he has painted himself as the villain, and will need to placate his local supporters, and fast. "Rather than make fun of his team in the media, why doesn't he actually do something to make the team half decent? I mean, I bleed orange for life, but it's been three years now, and no championships. I think we've waited long enough," perturbed diehard Blazers fan and rock legend David Grohl tells TFHN. "Other fans put us down enough. We don't need the ownership to do it too." Ronel also gave a comment on the situation: "What the bloody hell does everyone want from me? Make up your minds! Should I sugarcoat my team, or give them brutal honesty? I've tried both, but nothing is ever good enough for anyone." Grand Rapids Goats owner Adam Stier responded to the comment, saying "Shut up, a**hole. Quit crying. Business life wasn't meant to be easy. Just do what you think is right, go with your gut. If you fail miserably, then you have nobody to blame but yourself. But if you strike gold, then you reap the benefits. Do exactly what I've said and don't take orders from anyone."
