• Komodos owner Evan Presement has been indefinitely suspended from team operations by
the league. Deputy commisioner Dan Ronel has taken control of the franchise, and will handle
roster management at this time. •
• The Grand Rapids Goats have lost their first matchup since Week 1, dropping their third meeting
with the Halifax Voyageurs. •
• Although no trades have been announced recently, discussions are heating up; Mars is looking for
a defenceman, reportedly asking around about Anze Kopitar. This year’s trade deadline has been
